the Dread Pirates Guild is down to 21 members... What's up??? At one time, there were 42. I could go recruit, but I don't often run into a worthy player.
Painting miniatures and playing wargames?? What's that all about?

I think it's mostly because those of us who used to be on aren't on as much...I know I was off the game for nearly a month, so people that knew me and saw i wasn't around left...others forgot they left and thought we kicked them instead. I haven't kicked anyone and don't plan too...but I think the biggest issue is the lack of players on at the same time, so it never seems like we are doing anything, you know?
This is a game like real war, played against time, and played under circumstances of considerable excitement, and it is remarkable how elastic the measurements of quite honest and honorable men can become. (H.G. Wells, 1913)

I think its about time us pirates get our own cove. we need a steady gaming venue of sort to grow our numbers. come'on most of us are grown men with families & jobs we should all be able to contribute & rent some space foir our common interists. for real guys we need to do something.

I'd offer my man-cave, but it's presently being used on Wednesday night, another night may work...but would have to check with the warden, I mean wife, first...
